Ellis Communications, LLC is dedicated to the outdoor industry and works with outdoor media and companies within the industry. Being focused only on one industry allows Chris to keep his “finger on the pulse” which intern allows the companies Ellis Communications, LLC represent specific advantages over other companies who choose to be represented by larger Public Relation firms who have interest in several industries.
Being a small, dedicated firm allows Ellis Communications, LLC to give extra time and effort to each company he represents.

In May of 2005, Ellis Communications, LLC opened an office in Fayetteville, West Virginia. Having been a guide, outfitter, and business owner, he understands the service side of business and its importance. Ellis Communications has been integral part of the planning and hosting of media events across the country for many outdoor companies. The expertise and work ethic will give clients an added value promoting their products and services. He is an avid outdoorsman who has spent his life and career educating himself as well as his clients on the art of outdoor pursuits. Since receiving an education degree from Marshall University, Chris has worked at several premier recreational facilities as a guide and outfitter. In 1998, he founded The Mountain Connection, an outdoor adventure company comprising of a trip planning service and an outfitter service located in his home state of West Virginia. The company moved to the prestigious Glade Springs Resort in 2000 and became their exclusive outfitter providing adventures for thousands of guests every year at this top-rated resort. More recently, Chris was employed with the State of West Virginia as a Wildlife Marketing Representative where he promoted hunting, fishing, and wildlife related recreation. Chris has been a trip planner, naturalist, fly-fishing instructor, sporting clays instructor, avid hunter, and adjunct professor of outdoor recreation at Mountain State University.
